Tracktor issue for beginner please help

I installed the demo version of Traktor Pro from the NI website as a 30 day trial.

When I drag an mp3 into the deck and click play the track plays really fast and with lots of pops and noise.

Why is this? I’m running Traktor on a pc, in the preferences the audio device is: creative asio

I have no idea, totally new to traktor

You needto increase your latency settings within audio output section.

if it’s playing too fast check the pitch fader setting as well.

fixed it, was something to do with the asio thing, downloaded asio for all and used that, works fine. thanks all
