traktor 2.5 extra content is it any good
there is a gig of extra sounds with 2.5 downloading atm is it any good? im a hip hop dj hope there is some tasty beats an accapellas in there
Why not just downloading it and trying it out for yourself?
Btw: Did I overlook it or where did you notice that gig of sample content?

Just downloaded the 2.5. Looks a little bit different. Basically deck C & D. Hope it does not suck… 
Thanks but it is not yet downloadable as far as I’ve seen. I read in the FAQ it will be released 30th May 2012 (at least in Europe/Germany)…
It showed up for me this morning, but I’m in the US.
I had to download the extra content and the 2.5 update directly from the NI website. It did not show up in my service center. The extra content are all .trak files for the remix deck Looks like a decent selection, but I’ve only had a chance to glance at it.
I’ve been playing with it, its worth the download if only to have stuff instantly on hand to get used to the remix decks. there are a few different genres, including hip-hop so I recommend you get it if/when you can.
just been having a play. there is some nice beats there. using the mouse you can use all the sample deck slots, but as we all know only have access to the first 4 via midi.
I am disappointed they did add any vocals in there, especially as they had greg nice do a promo vid for it. however to be fair its free extra content so cant bitch too much
Anybody here who downloaded the extra loop content from NI website and is able to post a link?

Already tried out the service center and “my serials and products” NI page. There does not show up any loop content in my case…
EDIT: Got it! You just have to take the NI-homepage → Support → Updates → (Log-in)–> Traktor Pro 2 path

People are quite pissed off they didn’t test it out more.
Which was exactly the same for traktor pro, and traktor pro 2 and not surprisingly TP2.5. I really don’t understand how early adopters of NI software updates can get pissed off when there are glitches and bugs every single time, its common knowledge FFS.
They had 2+ months to test it out before the release.
Oh nay nay, we should still be pissed about it. If we don’t yell about it, they get away with it without a PR hit. NI being terrible software developers shouldn’t just be a thing we accept. Neither should them being DOUCHEBAAG software developers who only develop the parts of their broken software that will sell more controllers. But that’s different soapbox…
Thats the main reason people are pissed. They developed broken software to sell more f1’s.
I won’t be buying one, i don’t even use samples or loops.
This post on NI i agree with what he’s saying.
Not very encouraging considering the ‘improved beatgrid’ functionality was one of the features being heavily touted.
Perhaps v2.5 should be renamed to ‘Traktor - Remix Decks - reason to by our fancy new F1’, since that appears to have been the main focus with this release.
I can’t wait till I have a F1 gonna sample & loop the shit out of it
