Traktor 2 - “non editable” song details

I import my playlists from iTunes, not sure if that’s the problem. But every song in my playlists say “non editable”, so I can’t place a star rating or comments on my tracks. I’d really like to be able to do this. Any tips? Is it because I’m importing from iTunes and should make a duplicate/separate section to pull my Traktor collection from?

I suspect they are not read-only files or in a read-only drive. Try converting the tags to 2.3 in iTunes (select tracks > right click > convert ID3 tags)

Also, are you right clicking and selecting import tracks from collection?

You need to edit in the track collection

Thanks, this is the correct answer. It’s kinda silly, that you can’t edit these notes from with in the playlist view.
