Traktor 3 (any More Updates? Or R.I.P.)
Are they days for Traktor 3 over?
Does anyone know, or heard from a friend of a friend of any update coming in the near future?
Traktor 3.5?
If no more updates are coming
RIP TRAKTOR 3

My vote is for R.I.P.
Boo! I haven’t upgraded to TPro. I want just one more to make t3 silky. I guess they don’t need to worry about it though. There is no more money with T3.
Think they need all the time on updates for traktor pro![]()
after speakin with someone that works for NI distribution (uk) am seriosly doubting there will be any more updates for T3 but we can live in hope…
They should leave that version stable, but send your resources to the new traktor. The more minds the better
If NI still selling T3, they should provide updates for T3, like MS still provide updates for xp.
doubt they will
judging on their previous software releases coughFinal scratchcough there wont be much in the way of updates sadly.
I have been using t3 for about 3 years now & tpro for about 3 months so am still using t3 in my set’s as am not confident enough in pro yet!
If NI still selling T3, they should provide updates for T3, like MS still provide updates for xp.
ever tried updating from sp1 - sp3 - nightmare!!!
Uhm…SP1-SP2 is quite the update…it actually changes something like 12% of the original XP code.
SP2-SP3 is just a collection of hotfixes from when SP2 was released until SP3 was made public.
They can’t RIP T3 until they bring out the new NMX for TPro. It’s one of the best things about Traktor.
Why can’t the RIP T3? NI is going to be releasing NMX in a future release of TPro.
I don’t know think your statement makes much sense. They should keep developing T3 until they add NMX to TPro?
Fail.
Slightly relevant. What is NMX?
Native Mix…the ability to record your sets by actions, not a large wav file. Similar in respects to how Ableton can record actions.
it’s the Native Mix Recorder that T3 had. You could record the actions you were taking in T3 and replay them at will, as well as edit them. It could be used to put together mixes that could be recreated live, but then edited in that live function if something needed to be different. A lot of people really liked it, though I never really played with it. Maybe I will this time around
Ok, I know what that is. It just didn’t connect in my brain at the time. I’ve only used it once for a short mix. I liked it.
Hopefully when they put it back in they pimp it out and allow us to capture gestures and get them looping - all on the fly.
