Read the manual, tuned the latency. went through every setting possible and it what still lagging.

Is there a later driver download that’s more stable?
Or could it be my computer?

What have you got the latency set to mate?

I went through every latency setting.

I put it on 4100 Hz and went through every process buffer setting, and each & every one skipped sooner or later

well if its lagging its the buffer size that needs to be increased. start off at around 20ms latency and go from there.

I did all that. started at
4100, 1024
then 4100, 512

and so on, & so forth.
