Traktor browser mapping for Vestax vci-400
Hello everybody,
I’ve downloaded the Traktor mapping for my Vestax vci-400 from the Vestax site, and for me, these mappings are ok except for the browser section. Apparently, the only thing I can do with the browser knob, is go up and down the list (turning) and change between mixer mode to browser mode (pushing).
I had a Numark stealth control where the browsing was very simple (perfect for me)*but efficient and I would like to remap Traktor to be approximately the same for the Vestax.
I was thinking about:
left shift + push browser knob to toggle between tree and list
dial the browser knob to go up/down the tree and the same when in list
when in tree, push the browser knob to expand/collapse
Now here’s my question: is this possible and if yes, how?
I must admid, I’m an absolute noob with computers.
