Traktor External Mixer Setup

Hey guys, quick question. I’m a traktor dj who uses my presonus firebox, sending seperate singles for each deck, out to my Pioneer DJM 800 Mixer. I currently run my master volume in traktor at -4db but i’m wondering what is the correct volume to run the master volume at in traktor while using an exterior mixer. I heard once that -10db’s is correct but I’m just wondering.Thanks

There is no “correct” volume level. You need to set it at whatever helps it sound best, I guess. I’d usually set it to 0db, but you really need to make sure you’re not clipping out of the mixer.
