Traktor: Hot cue #1?

Is there something ‘special’ about the first hot cue? I feel like everytime I’ve tried to map it it doesn’t work like hot cues 2-8. Is it used for the first beat marker or something? I created a simple fx n cues layout for touchOsc a while back but only ended up using hot cues 2-8 because hot cue 1 wasn’t happening. Any thoughts?

There’s a setting in preferences to use hot cue 1 as the beat marker. If you turn that off it will set a beat marker, but not use the hot cue.

Awesome! Thanks a ton. I don’t get to spend enough time tinkering with traktor and mapping. Usually when I do get free time I’d much rather spend it mixing.
