Traktor Invert button function not working (Denon MC6000)

Traktor Invert button function not working (Denon MC6000)

Hi everybody,

Trying to map the “Instant Mixer” from the One-button Mapping Contest DJ TechTools - Instant Mixer One-button Mapping Contest
I’ m having difficulties with the “invert” option.
In this mapping the value of the modifier is increased every time you release the corresponding button.
The problem is that the value of the modifier is also increased each time I press that button, resulting in an increase 2 by 2 each time I press and release the button.
I tried everything I could think off, even starting from scratch with a new map, I can’t make the value of the modifier to increase only on release. It work fine with the keyboard or with my Nanokontrol which send cc values instead of notes for the Denon.
Is this a tractor bug, a Denon MC6000 bug?

Thanks for your support : )

Hi DJMI and welcome to Forums.

This issue is most likely coming from your controller. You need to check what button velocity has been sent in Note ON massage - not sure for 2.7 but for some reason Traktor wants to receive 7H for all button options.

Thanks for your quick answer.
You are right it has to do with the note on value sent by the Denon.
The Denon send the value 64, which cause the problem. Indeed with the Nanokontrol editor I can set the Note On value sent by the Nano. If I set it to 127 everything is fine, if I set it to 64 I can reproduce the behavior observed with the Denon.

I m disappointed, that mean I can’t program a lot of mappings although the Denon is supposed to be a great controller…..
Anyone got a solution???

Thanks
