Just because you have sync access doesn’t mean you have to use it. Likewise, Serato and Traktor both have tempo bars to see how far off you are from “sync.”

I’m very new to this culture but all I can say is I think the people they say it’s cheating are delusional. They must still use the old school brick Motorola cells or computers with the power of a pocket calulator. If they play sports, they probably don’t have a strength and condition coach and a nutritionist cause that makes you better. and they never did that “back in the day”
I have friends that stick rock the turntables. Thats all cool and I’m sure it’s a great skill to have. But they also have iPhones and iPods and LED tv’s and cars with navigation… why oh why out of all aspect of life does the “DJ” have to still be decades behind tech wise
