Traktor Kontrol s2 mk2 Question?

Though I think I’ve figured it out…Thought I’d ask anyway.

I have a Late 2007 black macbook running mac os x 10.6.8(snow leopard) and purchased a new Kontrol S2 and was getting Audio but none of the buttons on the S2 were working.

Is there anyway to get the S2 to work without having to pay $20 to upgrade to Mac os x 10.7?

You need to be on a more recent version of Traktor for the S2 Mk2 to work properly. Which will probably require OSX 10.7.
