Traktor Kontrol S2

Sooo sick. Anybody else loving this right now?

Got one small question though. Can you hook up the s2 too turntables like the s4?

I’m 90% sure you can’t, as it doesn’t have phono inputs. You’d need an Audio 8 or 10 and Traktor Scratch pro or duo.

So with the above set up you could have vinyl control?? So along with x1 you could play four dexs and have scratch control??
Is this possible?

With Traktor Scratch Pro and Audio 10 you can have 4 deck scratch control.

Check that for more info. If you wanted to use 4 decks you would need a 4 channel mixer or midi controller acting as a mixer if you wanted to mix internally.

Ok so now I have the brand new Audio 10 interface. I’m currently having trouble getting my turntables too work with my S2.

Does anybody know how, or if for sure this actually works?

Have you upgraded your software to traktor scratch pro rather than just traktor pro?

Yes, Traktor Scratch Pro upgraded.

Ok. So I’m guessing a bit here.

Set traktor to internal mode and set audio 10 as soundcard in output settings.

Make sure input settings for a and b are from audio 10

Make sure s2 islet as controller

Wire your decks to the inputs a and b of audio 10

Change the decks to scratch control
