Traktor Kontrol S2MKII (& Denon DN-X100) for a DVS solution

Hi All,

I picked up some turntables not too long ago and want to go DVS with them. I love it, but I’m thinking of parting with my Kontrol S2MKII and even my old school DN-X100 mixer if anyone wants it. I’d like to somehow piece something together where I could trade my gear for your gear in some fashion. Whether there is money on top, things look pretty even, etc. is to be worked out.

  1. The S2MKII is in perfect condition. It includes a decksaver, which is a very nice accessory. I’ve also got a set of Black chroma caps if you needed a back-up cap down the road for whatever reason. I’ve got the original packaging, too.

  2. The DN-X100 is pretty old and works fine, though the crossfader is sometimes a little finicky. As if when it’s fully closed on one side or the other, it on occasion will let a little signal in every now and then. I’m assuming this could be remedied if I just opened it up and did a little cleanup/maintenance, but I haven’t been bothered.

A Z2 would be great. Or a Traktor certified mixer, perhaps?. Even though I haven’t used it, I have nothing against going Serato.

I’m in the Chicago 'burbs, so a local transaction would be preferable, although I realize that we’re really stretching it now. In any case, please contact me through PM so we can discuss things there and iron out any details if need be.
