Traktor Kontrol S4 + notebook ???

Hello, I was looking into the Traktor Kontrol S4 and I was thinking about buying it, but I wondered if it would work well with my notebook which has the following specs :

-Intel Atom CPU (No idea what the ghz are)
-1GB of RAM

I don’t think those specs would go well with the Traktor Kontrol S4, but I just wanted to be sure. If my presumption is correct, Ill just go ahead and get myself the CDJ-400 + DDM-4000 combo.

you’re netbook would explode. personally, i’d say just save up - get the s4 and a more powerful laptop.

I’m assuming you mean a Netbook if it has an atom processor and 1gb of ram.

I’ve tried my s4 with my Acer netbook, 1.6ghz atom and 2gb ram just for the hell of it. It won’t really work too well. Lots of clicks and pops. Those computers are surprisingly good for what they are, but certainly not something capable of running Traktor well.

I loaded up Traktor Pro on an the old Macbook Air (1280x800 resolution. IIRC) and found it to be a bit of a restricted view. If you’re running on one of the less expensive netbooks with 1024X(600 or 768) resolution, I suspect you won’t like it – just not enough of the interface will be shown.

I’ve got an Asus Eee PC 1215n netbook…Do you think the s4 will work on that?
