Traktor Kontrol X1 through controller

Hey!

I’m looking forward to purchase one, maybe two if it works for me Kontrol X1 units to control Traktor decks, currently I play using a Reloop TM8 mapped to Traktor however I believe I could get more juice out from the decks using the X1’s.

I’m wondering, the TM8 has an AUX entry, could the X1 be connected to the controller for internal mixing or should I connect it directly into the computer for lets say control decks A and B then C and D with the TM8. Or just using two units straight to the computer to control the 4 decks and use the mixer from the TM8, im unsure if there could be any type of latency.

Let me know if I’m pretty off or there is some workaround that might actually work!.

The Kontrol X1 is just a MIDI controller and can’t produce audio on it’s own so you’ll need to connect it via USB to your computer. There is no way to hook it up to the AUX input on your TM8.

You just need the spare USB ports. the X1s and TM8 will duplicate controls, and should just work pretty much plug and play.
