Traktor Kontrol Z2

About a month ago i purchased the Kontol Z2. Got it all hooked up and everything, and suddenly the BPM’s are not staying in sync, meaning their fluctuating up and down. I switched from the Audio 8 DJ to the Z2 to get away from using the mouse. I never had tgis issue while running the Audio 8 and it’s driving me crazy. Anything in I’m doing wrong or any ideas for what I’m supposed to do?

If you’re hooked up to turn tables that is called “wow & flutter”. It is evident in all turntables and is the signature trait of using a DVS system. Direct drive will help cut this down if you’re using belt driven turntables.

If you’re just using a Z2 with no turntables, I would check your midi mappings to make sure there’s no midi conflicts adjusting the tempo when you move a channel fader (as an example).

thank you for your reply. But, I’ve had traktor since 2006, and have never seen this happen before until after I hooked up the Z2. I have two other DJ’s that use my system and they can’t figure out why it’s doing it now all of a sudden.
