Traktor Pro 2 Demo Availability?

Any of you insiders have a loose timeframe for demo availablity?

Gonna try it to test how well it will run on this laptop before I buy it.

Will I just be able to stick in my card details on the NI site and download my TSP2 upgrade straight away on april 1st? Can’t wait to get going on it!

Yeah pretty much. Theres bound to be congestion though. I remember when TP1 came out and the forum went mental with people complaining that the installer kept getting to 97% and then stopping.

I gave up after a few attempts and went to my gig. I grabbed the software when i came home at 4am. No point driving yourself crazy.

Good to know, not that I’m missing a ton since I have the S4. I’m really curious to hear more of the bouncer effect, sounded really sick in the video.

Anyway Karlos, the S4 owners - do they get their update on April 1st via Service Center free of charge?

Hmm, not sure. S4 owners will receive a coupon via email with download instructions. Im not sure of the process after that. I do not know when the vouchers will go out .

I would expect the S4 upgrades to be rolled out to take it easy on the servers.

Does anybody know if they fixed the issues in s4 with Tpro2? Namely the filter sounding like junk compared to tpro, reverb freeze, turntable fx (that didn’t really work in tpro either), and even the delay freeze doesnt sound the same as Tpro (the filter is different).

Ladder on the actual internal mixer. I’ve been using it for awhile…kinda noticed it sounded weird when I switched to s4 but I didn’t really think much of it and got used to it, but when I messed with Tpro the other day I realized it doesn’t sound nearly as good as it used to on Tpro. If you still have Tpro check it out

i just did and didnt notice much difference (In tpro i used my x1 to do the filter:92 mostly not the normal ladder fliter)

ill check again when im sober to see if i can find out what your talking about.

S4 shipping time to South Africa is about 10 days - ordered over weekend so I’m expecting mid-March. Should I just wait for April 1st to install?

I bump the mid on the EQ at the same time and it sounds pretty good. It’s just seem to have a shorter range.
