[TRAKTOR PRO 2] Load different cue points in the same track in different playlists?

Hi all,

Has anyone tried doing this?

Does the question in the title make sense?

  1. Save track into Playlist A. Load track in Playlist A. Set cue points/markers.
  2. Save [the same] track into [a different] Playlist B. Load track in Playlist B. Set [different] cue points/markers.

I tried this workflow and both tracks in both [different] playlists only load up the same cue points/markers.

Has anyone tried this in order to LOAD different cue points/markers for the same track in different playlists?

Welcome.

What you are trying to do is impossible as no matter what playlist you put a track in you are still using the same track. Playlists are just a bunch of paths to the tracks, you are not actually moving the actual track itself.

The only way to do this would be to have duplicate versions of the track (one named slightly differently would work better) and use them in your different playlists.

This is the same for any DJ software as far as I’m aware.
