Traktor Pro and Scratch Pro difference?
So Iam thinking of grabbing some cheap turntables and messing around with that. I have an Audio 8, all the cables, and traktor pro. I know I will need the vinal timecode but Iam good with just Traktor pro right?
no you need scratch pro or scratch due i think you can also get which is a 2 deck version of scratch pro with a few dropped features.

can i upgrade without buying all the hardware I already own?
yup there is a certified mixer upgrade. Cheapest ive seen it so far is £229.00 in the uk.
I cant get a software upgrade from NI?
yes, you should be able to do a crossgrade.

The ONLY difference as far as I am aware between pro and scratch pro is that scratch allows timecode inputs.
didn’t karlos confirm in a different thread that there is no crossgrade package for people with pro and an audio8 already, that they still need to get the scratch package for timecode use?

yea i cant find anything, I wish NI had a phone line but Ill just email them and see what I get back.
