Traktor Pro error in Windows Vista (Solved)
Just for your information, I just had this error with my Traktor Pro:
and I remembered that I have had this before, with SEVERAL NI products actually. Luckily I remembered the solution as well.
You have to disable your FLOPPY drive in the device manager;
Start > Control Panel > System > Device Manager
there you just disable the floppy drivers.
SOLVED!
Hope it helps someone in the future.
Thanks for your post Hope this helps someone out too.
If anyone else gets some funked out errors and has fixes we love to hear them !

Yep, I ran into this early on as well. Since I don’t have a floppy drive, I disabled the controller in the BIOS. Problem solved permanently.

Honestly Tekkman, I had the same, it loaded for 40-60 seconds sometimes, even with Bentos and your fix, and baddabing, this made it load for about 10 the first time around. Now it loads for 5 seconds with your fix! Too bad this does not work on the Mac tho haha

B33SON:
What’s a floppy drive?
Something that the people over at Microsoft have not been able to disable, even though it is not present lolz

Eventhough, I have cursed this so many times before (that its still on main boards) I must say that they have saved my ass a lot of times. But most mainboards that are 2 years or younger should now be able to boot from a USB stick, if worse comes to worse, and your CD/DVD does not boot anymore.

IDD.
My mainboard for instance is year and a half old. Can boot from USB, Floppy or any other disc.
Still by default, the BIOS activates the Floppy Drive Controller, even though no floppy drive is/was connected.
