Traktor Pro not detecting A2DJ

Hey all,

For some reason my Traktor Pro refuses to detect my Audio 2 DJ. I bought it used of the forums so faulty hardware may be the issue, but I want to try to fix it here before I contact the seller.

I have re-installed the driver several times off the disc included in the box. I have also run through traktor pro’s setup wizard a couple of times to make sure all was set up well.

When the device is plugged in the A and B channels light up green then after 5-10 seconds go off.

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong here?

Can you play audio through the audio 2 normally and it only doesn’t work with traktor?

Did you try different cables? Different ports? Do you get sound if you set the A2 as the default for computer sound?

Try installing ASIO as your (laptop?) driver, then it should appear as Audio2(ASIO) in the drop-down menu in ‘Audio Setup’ - make sure you highlight this option.

i had this issue a while back and i had to uninstall and reinstall using the drivers off of ni’s website … try downloading the new drivers and give that a shot.
