# Traktor Pro?

**Traktor Pro?**

hi, i need some help i was thinking and am probably getting the vci 100se. and i watched your video on how to set it up. and i was wondering, do i have to have traktor pro to use the vci 100 se or do i just need it for some of the features

You have to use Traktor Pro. Traktor LE won’t let you import custom mappings.

but could i still use it just with the features of the regular vci 100?

Yes, but Traktor LE is missing some FX.

You can use the VCI-100SE with Traktor LE, but you will only be able to use the premade mapping Traktor has for it. You can use the VCI-100SE with other programs like Virtual DJ, but the custom mappings we make only work with Traktor Pro.
