Traktor - Remix decks and Jam controller
I have traktor pro / kontrol S4 / Jam
I want to use Jam controller to control the remix decks.
Start playing is not a problem
but I can’t get the color status back to the button on the jam controller. On my S4 I see the color on the hotcue button of the sample selected. How can I get the same on the controller.
I used add out, selected the correct deck, and tried a lot of selections..
what am I doing wrong?
Colour feedback is out of your control. If NI provided it for your controller (like S4mk2/f1) then great. Otherwise you are out of luck.
I don’t own a machine jam so i can’t tell if it is supposed to have traktor remix deck sample cell color feedback. If it doesn’t have it now then NI might fix this in a future traktor update if we bug them enough. Since the jam is a pretty new controller this might actually work.
You won’t get Jam to display corresponding cell colors like your S4 or F1 controller. However you can map them to any of colors available… Check my Jam Traktor mapping. I got those working.
Can you maybe post an example of your Cell output in a form of TSI?
