Traktor S2 Beat Mismatch?

Hi All,

First post here (and it’s going to sound like a noob question) so please be gentle.

I’m mixing on a Traktor S2. Basically everything is going down as follows:

Same BPM - not using sync
Sometimes even mixing harmonically or in key
Phase meter is dead center
Bass on the incoming track is set to about 10:00
It even sounds right in my headphones

When I record a session and play it back sometimes there’s what sounds like a beat mismatch. Am I missing something or not hearing properly? Or is the song(s) not beat gridded properly?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like an issue with the grid. some tracks are a pain in the ass to get right.

trying using the metronome click on tracks that seem off…

i also have some older tunes that are sampled so the odd beat doesnt hit perfectly which is a bit annoying.

also you might be using a delay or something? but im sure you checked that
