Traktor S4 software with VCI100

Is this a possibility? Would like to use the Traktor S4 at home and take the VCI100 to gigs due to the small size?

yes! i would say,

but is going to involve quite an epic remapping, which will probably need quite a few modifiers and ‘shift’ keys in order to retain full functionality, but given enough time is achievable

I’ve KILLED a mapping for my Stanton SCS3S. It actually carried over for the most part, I just had to make new mappings for the sample decks. It actually worked out quite nice as I left the old assignments for regular decks there and they work fine when I turn either or both decks back to regular decks.

besides it would be a waste of money IMO, just wait for the traktor pro update/upgrade.

Do you know what thats going to include (the update) and perhaps when its going to come out and if we’ll need to buy an upgrade if we have TP.

I’m a mortal (don’t work for NI) like anyone else around in this forum. No one really knows other than loop rec and sample decks are coming (no word about a few other changes in S4 software, release date or pricing).

When this info is known it will become quite a hot topic in the forums and maybe Ean or someone else to review it.

Just when u were baffled by this I’ve discovered the 3M can be toggled between 8 different channels while darouter is running!!! I actually discovered this while reading the manual while sittin on the throne as my iPhone was uploading this vid. I’ve just began my utilization of these scenes. My ScS4s is going to have A LOT of assignable commands!!!
