Traktor using 2 Macbooks,2 soundcards (Audio8 & Audio6) with jz 2 CDJ2000 & 1 DJM800
need some technical advice ..is there anyone knows how to hook up/set up Traktor using 2 Macbooks,2 soundcards (Audio8 & Audio6) with jz 2 CDJs2000 & 1 4 channel DJM800 mixer??
Search for ‘tsquared traktor tutorial’ on YouTube. We did this video for 1.2.7 but the theory is the same for 2.x.x
I used channels 1&2 and Matt used 3&4. The issue you’re going to have is with sending midi clock. The audio 6 doesn’t have a midi in or out, unless that DJ is using a midi controller which has midi ins and outs. Of course you can use osc via Ethernet.
Are you expecting both cdjs to work with both MacBooks?
