Traktor Z2 Help - assign a rotary knob to assist cueing

Recently bought a Traktor z2 and what a great bit of kit it is. For small events I would like to run my event just using this rather than carrying my decks around.
I can see that it is quite possible with this but the only thing I can’t figure out is whether it’s possible to set up a rotary knob to help with cue ing. So I know I can map a button to this no problem but I’m thinking like on the x1 you have the strip that you can use to assist with cueing whether I can assign a rotary knob on the z2 that I’m not using to do this.

Unless anyone has any other ideas?

That should be possible. “Jog turn” is the control you’re looking for.

so as that isnt a standard function do i just add Jog Turn as a function and then assign what ever I want to it?

For the most part.
You might have to configure some of the options.

do you want the rotary to scroll the track so you can set a cue where you want?

Why not just use hot cues or better still a load marker so you only have to press play once the track is dropped on a deck.
