Traktor z2 help

I just picked up this mixer and while I love it there are a few things I can’t figure out.

  1. How to enable post/pre fader effects
  2. How to enable samples to play as quick one shots. I was able to sort of get it but it requires me to switch to deck be then hold the button again until it flashes then finally the samples play fast.

Any help would be appreciated.

  1. Ether from mode menu by clicking the number of FX unit or by mapping

Add in > FX unit > Unit mode selector / type=button / interaction=as will

  1. Check your remix deck drop menu and look for arrow above sync button or add command:

Add in > Remix deck > Slot Play Mode / type=button / interaction=as will

You can also set your sample trigger type from momentary to full length.
