trying to up my sound
what additional equipment should i look into getting for my traktor kontrol s4 to further improve my sound and dj style? also would you recommend using cdjs with the s4?

How about more practice? I’ve seen people absolutely rock the S4. The answer isn’t always more equipment, but utilizing and maximizing what you have. Do a search (youtube and here) for chaining effects and making macro knobs to add some more flavor to your sound.
Also, finding great tracks that no one else is playing is also a big part of standing out from the crowd.
