TSP 2 star ratings/iTunes ratings
I’ve noticed an issue when rating songs in TSP2. If I load a track into a deck, listen to it, and then rate it, the rating almost never stays in the track. To avoid that problem, I tried to rate them in iTunes, but the ratings don’t seem to be transferring over or at least not being picked up inside of Traktor. Any of you guys ever run into this issue? If so, anyone know of a fix?
The ratings system in traktor is not the same as iTunes so if your loading the song out of the iTunes tree the ratings won’t stay. You need to add the songs to your collection and then the ratings will stay with the song. Doing so doesn’t duplicate the song it just tells Traktor where it is.
I’m not using the itunes tree at all. I was editing ratings from the explorer tree (and I have editing enabled), but they weren’t staying. After that, I started editing inside of itunes. While ratings were staying in the tags inside of the MP3, they weren’t showing up inside Traktor. As for where I load from, I always play from the root location in the explorer tree. Not the collection or itunes trees.
Anyone? no ideas?

When you say they are disappearing do you mean they disappear after you shut down traktor and then go back in?
