Tuning Drums & Finding Root Note? (Help Me!!)
Hey,
So I am working on a new remix and I had a few questions about tuning drums…
First off, what exactly am I tuning them to? For example, I removed the drums from the original track and replaced them with my own…
So do I tune the drums to the sample with the removed drums? If so I should just find the root note of the sample, and then tune all the drums to that correct?
Or am I only tuning the drums to themselves and the baseline? Or am I wrong on both accounts? lol…
Also, when finding the root note, i was having problems choosing exactly which peak was the right frequency… anyone got any tips to help me out on this?
