Turning Silver VCI in to Black or not?

I have just got my VCI and it’s silver and i am going to update the firmware as soon possible but as I might want 1.3fw and I have a silver vci, the overlays for 1.3 are only black so why no silver with all the writing on there as well?

Is there any reason we can’t get silver se overlay etc?Has anyone put a black overlay on a silver vci?

I don’t really want a black one, silver is nice but what’s up on the overlays?

ive done a black overlay on my silver vci. i did the arcade mod.

check it ! Another VCI Arcade completed without going to the machine shop!
