un-registering SW prior to sale?

I’m selling my Z2 (see for sale thread), and have requested (online) for the code to be de-registered so its free for the new owner. Did I see somewhere thats its better/quicker to give them a call to do this (the faq on NI’s site tells otherwise, but…)

I haven’t tried calling but whenever I had to sell something it was usually released in 1-3 days.

Ahh great, thats fine i’m not in any hurry. I’ve got the confirmation from NI of the request, so I’ll just sit back and chill :slight_smile:
