What gear is richie hawtin using in this youtube vid?
With Hawtin, it’s usually either Ketamine, or Smack.

Hawtin likes to use A&H equipment. so it might just be a Xone:2d and Xone:1d next to eachother. But he doesn’t have a laptop there, which is unusual since he uses Ableton to dj.

Dunno where his screen is.
All he really needs is to know which track he is selecting i recon.
Everything else is setup and he knows where it is.
Probably have to trust the system a lot to not worry about checking the screen to see if the desired effect has been made on the PC via the controller.
This ones a little better, but I still don’t know what it is.
Could be using a lemur or iPad for a screen. And he uses a Maschine so I guess it could be that maybe.

This is Richie Hawtin in ‘the body of Plastikman’. Plastikman isn’t using any A&H hardware at all. He has a lot of gear inside the LED screen. Midas mixer, TR909, TB-303, and Ableton of course. He controls Ableton with Lemurs and Machines, but also now the new MIDI software for the Ipad (beta testing).
What he uses at the front of the screen, could be a TR808, or a Spectralis.
