Upgrading Traktor pro 2 to TSP2 using the S4 Scratch update,does it work?

Ok so i already have traktor pro 2 & and audio 4 and want to upgrade it to TSP2

I heard if you buy the s4 scratch upgrade kit you can use it on traktor pro 2 with out an s4 and you will have TSP2.

So before i go drop some cash,is this true and will it work?
