yeah zabiela inspired me to get an x/y pad in that video (and the live godskitchen demo of it)
map effect parameter/knob 4 (gate-time) to one of the axis and map ‘effect on’ to both axis set to HOLD.
I mapped param/knob 4 to the horizontal axis on my padkontrol pad and param/knob 2 and 3 to the vertical axis.
im planning to write a setup with bomes midi controller and the korg nanopad within the next three weeks, which will let you hold one of the drumpads and control different parameters using the touchpad and then hold another touchpad which changes the parameters of the touchpad again. the touchpad can then be used like multiple knobs without taking all the space. dont know how to implement this with traktor but its possible with torq.
