Using Two s2’s at once?
Hey, long time lurker and new poster here. So my buddy just recently got his own s2, and I was wondering if there was any way that we could use both of ours at the same time on the same laptop, maybe to play decks C and D, or maybe one to control sample decks with better accuracy? Or maybe even to use 4 tracks and 4 sample decks total? I really want to start getting into doing a dual dj set with him so any information that could help us figure this out would be fantastic. Thanks Guys

couldn’t you use one in HID controlling decks a & b and the other in midi controlling deck c & d… or if using two computers you could use the midi clock to sync the two systems… If not get onto zestoi on the forum, his midimasher program could make it work, and he is very helpfull…
The next statement as always is vdj could do it without middleware as it can use as many paralell devices as you like even if they are the same type on upto 99 decks all synced to a master tempo… you could even make a skin to spread over two or more screens in the current version, but if dockable resizable skin pannels are in version 8 like the teaser video you would be able to create your own workspace to suit the features you need like in “the one”… you could even redesign the elements the skin is made from in photoshop or illustrator if you don’t like the original design…
