VCI-100 & Cue Listening with the Mixer in a Club

Hello Forum,

i’m having a gig next saturday in a club and playing with a Macbook Pro,
Vestax VCI -100 and M-Audio Fasttrack Pro USB interface.

My question is, can i cue listening on the mixer in the club
or do i have to put the headphone in the Fasttrack Pro ?

If it’s possible to put the headphone in the mixer of the club,
how do i do the cable management and the software settings in Traktor LE ?

Thanks for your support
Marc

Sure is buddy. run your master into channel 1 on the club mixer and your monitor into channel 2 with the volume down and cue. its usually much louder than monitoring off a S/C.

Thank you very much for the info. I have one more question.

If i put my monitor into channel 2 of the club mixer with the volume down and cue, can i pump up the volume with another knob at the mixer for mixing and listen to the monitor speaker at the dj booth ?

Thanks
Marc

The speakers in the booth should be getting the same output as the house speakers. They help with your mixing as (obviously) they are close to you and tend to be punchier. You can crank up the cue level on the mixer for your phones. If the fader is down the only output for monitoring is going into your ears only.
