Typically I use a mixer aligneds to an X1 and it has suited me excellentlly over the years…but my mixer died and I am looking for a new one…
While looking I have come across an arcade button modded VCI 100 and am severly tempted by it, but having never used one I am not sure I want to take the risk of buying it and not liking it…
As an aside I realise I can sell the X1 if i like the VCI 100…
Sell it to me, what are the strengths and weaknesses?
owner of a vci100se arcade. Its a beast. pretty much indestructible. Ive had a beers spilt on it before and it was still jugging the next day. Easy to do maintenance on. Easy to open up. With the mapping that djtt provides you have control of 4 decks in traktor 2.5. Decent support here. High resolution pitch faders and jog wheels. I also own the vci400ege and the 100se pitch faders and jogs have better accuracy. DO it
