VCI-100 Sensor Problem?

I just received this used off eBay, and kudos to Vestax this thing is the real deal. But I’ve never used this controller before, and am wondering if I got a bad unit from the seller. The sensor on the jogwheels only seems to work (red light come on) when I physically touch the controller surface and the jogwheel at the same time. Is this right?

Maybe you need to adjust the jog wheel sensitivity. This can be done (sometimes) on the hardware of certain controllers and inside traktor as well.

You need a screwdriver, locate the sensitivity ‘screws’ at the back, and have a fiddle. Sounds under sensitive to me…
