vci-100/traktor cueing issue

my set-up was working well - mac + vci-100 + vai-40 + traktor 3 = i was having great fun for around a year.

then it started playing up after i upgraded to 3.4. i noticed that in audio set-up - output routing the soundcard had changed from:
maya44usb out 1 / maya44usb out 2 (monitor) and maya44usb out 3 / maya44usb out 4 (master)
to
front left and front right (monitor) and maya44usb out 2 and maya44usb out 3 (master)

now - i can’t cue songs up using my headphones. before when the cue button was green i could hear through my headphones and mix. now it plays out of my speakers.

any help would be most welcome. i have been fiddling around for days to no avail :disappointed:

Can you change the Front Left/Front Right to anything else, or are those the only options?

my choice is:
front left, front right, maya44 usb out 2 and maya44 usb out 3. i tried a number of configurations.

Im having the same problem. Does anyone knoiw how to fix this?
