VCI-100/Traktor Pro Popping problem on track start

VCI-100/Traktor Pro Popping problem on track start

I sure could use some help on this one:

I have a “pop” problem while using Traktor Pro with the VCI-100 hooked up.

-The problem does not exist with the VCI-100 disconnected
-The problem only happens when either player is playing, and the volume on my external mixer is up
-When I cue, pause, or stop the other deck opposite the one that is playing (volume all the way down), I hear a pop or click over my speakers.
-with the volume sliders all down, no pop on any key press
-if I hit cue or play with the mouse on Traktor, same deal
-If I disconnect the VCI-100, the pop goes away

My config:
-Traktor Pro 1.2.4
-CPU load set to basic
-NI Audio 4 Sound Card
-VCI-100
-USB 2.0 cables with ferrite
-Latest Audio 4 drivers

I typically hit cue a few times for stutter starts on the VCI-100 as I am bringing in a new track at low volume over a track that is already playing and I get these pops when I start the track. I also hear a pop if I stop a track in either deck while the other deck is playing

Im not sure if this helps but i found that if i have my sound card hooked up to my macbook and i havent hooked it up correctly eg, i had traktor open already and i then plug in my sound card and then pull it out after my set and dont quit traktor then plug it back in again the sound card will make pop sounds and distortion sounds… btw i have the NI Audio 8, what i found helped was restarting the comp and it went away?

Thanks, But I always have the sound card and vci-100 plugged in before I start up Traktor. I didn’t have this problem prior to Traktor Pro 1.1.3 I believe.

Here’s a quick video of the problem:

Is there a problem with the buttons on the VCI-100 being of poor quality? Is this maybe a firmware issue on the VCI-100? Could this be a USB I/O problem?
