Vci-100/traktor Pro "problem" Please Help!

You should buy a external sound card. If you don’t, you can’t hear your cue.

To instal tsi: preferences> (bottom in the window) load>ok

So do you need a external sound card for the vci 100 to work at all? Because I could use the keyboard but not the vci 100.

I tried to go to midi setup and double clicked on the vci…there is a signal but I can’t control T-Pro with the vci only with keyboard I can. The midi icon lights up when I push a button on the vci. I re-installed T-pro too!
Also when I go to preferences>import>midi settings>(this is where I am stuck) there is no tsi file???

I am new to all this so I don’t really know how to load a Tsi file so if maybe some one could help please?

You need to download the TSI file from Vestax’s site and Import it.

You dont need a soundcard to use the VCI-100, its just recommended as if your using the internal soundcard on yout laptop you will only have 1 channel of audio (the master channel) and you wont be able to cue.

Read the manual to learn how to install .tsi files - press help in traktor, then press “read manual”.
