vci 300 vs. vci 100se

is the vci 300 that comes with serato itch incapable of using the midi mappings from the vci 100 se maps that you guys are using with traktor pro… i guess i’m wondering since it has a sound card in it, wouldn’t it be better for traktor than the 100 … or does the built in card not work for 4 decks… or does it not work with anything besides serato itch. i like the built in card option.

The VCI-300 is not capable of using the mappings for the VCI-100 as is. You’d need to use the mini.translator and you would have to lose some of the mapping capabilities because there are fewer buttons on the VCI-300.
