Another tid bit of information, is you can deny UPS or FedEX from clearing your packages duty wise. You would pay the taxes and a small fee and your duties would not be through the roof. A lot of people do not realize that if you contact UPS or FedEX while your shipment is in transit, you can tell them you will clear the package yourself. Bring the required paper work to them and away you go.

You are right, UPS or FedEX will rip you off, USPS is the best.

Interesting… what kind of issues have they experienced?
I actually like the VCI-400’s layout better, and I do my own traktor mapping so VCI seems a promising choice.
However, being a turntablist makes me value the jogwheel a little bit more. S4 has traktor HID support, hence in theory it should deliver better result than MIDI (Correct me if I’m wrong, and I actually hope I’m wrong…). I’ve been looking for VCI-400’s video for days, but I’ve yet to see one that can convince me to get the vci. Unkut’s video is nice, but too little scratch, too much fx.

Just saying what i’ve heard not trying to guide you towards the VCI, ask around and keep doing your own research, but issues the i’ve seen with the S4/2 is the fader or controls not working well anymore, as for the HID, yes you are right, but unless you are going to do some scratching, which i doubt it since you are moving to a controller there should not be anything else that you need with the VCI400SE.

Just picked one of these up myself, and anyone who snags this one up will not be disappointed.

Especially if you love to play with mapping, there are so many options. I had an S2 and LDP8 for effects/more consistent filter knobs (S2 uses the notchy gain nob) and was looking at an S4. Once I came across the VCI-400SE, I fell in love and had to get it.
