Keep us posted on your mod

Wow, that sounds like a brilliant idea! Hopefully, there’s enough room inside.
Good luck!

yeah i should be getteng the soundcard by next week so i can start putting apart the vci hpefully there is eneough room

I dont think theres room for a soundcard in the vci, the whole back of the unit is very busy with not alot of room back there :disappointed: Death to inbuilt sound cards anyway :stuck_out_tongue:

even if i take out just the inside of the soundcard :disappointed: my dreams are crushed lol well i guesss thats not going to be possible but at least im going to try it

No harm in giving it a shot

I was thinking along the lines of like a raised stand that my big o’ nio 2|4 could go inside of while the vci sits on top.
..maybe something that would stand nicely over a a 4-channel mixer. something to make the vci more club friendly. etc.

heheh yea but i cant put the nio inside lol…if i want more sound quality i can always use my presonus firebox

Did you see the VCI-100 upgrade video ean did ? that gives you a good look at how much room you have to work with inside.

yea bento i think i have enough room the inside of the maya is not that big thanks

Sweet

nice idea, hope you didn’t forget that you’ll also need to be routing out maya’s USB cable to connect it to your pc

yea im working on that with the soundengineer lol what are looking to the possibility of putting another USB PORT

man thats a good idea bro! i have the Gigaport AG, will that fit? keep us posted, cuz that would be a great project and a whole lot cheaper than buying the VCI-300, especially if you want to stick to traktor.

yea im sure that gigaport will fit tooo

sidequestion: so suddenly the vci300 won’t be usable with traktor? I heard it wasn’t, then i heard it was, and now i read this >_<

i asked ean some days ago about the vci-300 compatible with traktor and he said, that they have designed a plug in thats makes it compatible. cause i´m actually thinkin about purchasing one.
