VCM-100 - CPU Question.
Hi, everyone. I’m wondering does the Vestax VCM-100 support AMD Athlon 64 X2 CPU ?
I’ve checked it in vestax’s website and the hardware requirement is
“CPU: Pentium III 500 MHz (Advanced CPU required for laptops)”.
Please, help.
it should be fine, chances are the drivers were made on a machine running that, think it’s the same for the vci and i’m running a celeron processor with no issues.
tbh i’ve found that most system requirements don’t seem to matter that much with hardware, as long as you have usb it’ll work

@BradCee: but in this case meeting the hardware requirements will be a necessity, as the VCM-100 also has the audio interface built-in so there’ll be some processing overhead shifting audio and MIDI over the same bus, versus something like the VCI-100.
@Liubakiss: as BradCee said, it should be fine. The PIII series are generations older than the X2s, so your machine should be caning the MINIMUM requirements.
