VDJ 8 coming soon
Atomix bought Adionsoft which made PCDJ and will be rolling out a completely re-written version for VDJ 8 sometime soon.
Should be vewy vewy intewesting.

I am for more companies coming out with software. I hope that it even does some things better than Traktor if not all of them. I’m a strong believer in competition to be a motivating factor. I think that for a long time certain companies set such high standards on both hardware and software (but to a lesser extent) that it allowed them to dominate the market for so long and in that time how much real innovation did they really do?
Now we many companies coming out with both great hardware and software. This has helped to quicken the pace on development of features in all software, IMHO. Who knows if it’s good enough I may even switch.

the 1200 was only decient turntable so it never changed, well not much
cdj 1000 club standard so no evolution
the 2000 only came out cuz of the onslought of dvs
hopefully the dvs option gets better!
