VESTAX VCI 380 not detected in OSX

I’m sorry if you’ve been discussing this earlier, I can’t manage to find a “search” in the forum.

I have a Vestax VCI 380 controller that just stopped being recognized by my Macbook Pro. I think it may have been since the update to Mavericks… but can’t really confirm.

I’ve done a lot of searching and touching and configuring, it doesn’t even show up in my Midi Window in Utilities.

Anybody with the same issue? Solutions?

I’m using the latest version of Serato DJ 2.2.2

Thanks!

I had something similar.
I can’t remember the exact details, but it’s something like;

Go in to the audio / midi utility. Delete the existing midi session (or whatever they call it), & create a new one.
Add the VCI 380 back in, & name/save the new midi session.

I believe i found this solution on the serato forums, if you need clarification on any of the above.

yep, same thing I’ve seen with any midi controller I’ve tried with Serato, you should not need to delete the existing config, just add “new configuration” and restart Serato.
