S4 or VCI-400? You guys think it will take the S4?
A LOT better than S4 i think. Many buttons to map. So many options…
I wish it was a tiny bit bigger so the knobs and buttons were a little more spread out. I’d like to try one to see if it feels congested.
Yeah I found it a bit cramped. Loadsa stuff on there and the build quality was very good.
The layout is a bit messy and disjointed but i only had a few minutes on it so thats only a first impression.
Will it kill off the S4..? No cus it doesnt come with Traktor 
Seemed really cramped for twisting some of those knobs and I really didn’t see anything that couldn’t be done on any other controller.
It is nice to have so many controllers to choose from though.

I see your smiley and it may be said in jest etc etc… but … 
…I’ve said it before, so many people that want a decent controller already own traktor so i don’t think it will make that much of a difference to people.
One thing that may be prob is time code support though as i still don’t think its been confirmed has it? Although “Ghetto” time code (ie. none certified) may work given you’ve got a boostable input signal? … or am i clutching at straws there?
How are the connections on the back? How it would connect 2 TT’s?
simple rca ins. but it’s not a traktor certified soundcard (and will surely never be)
Although it seems a great controller, the S4 still comes with NHL and I think that they’ve the best scratching decks possible! This is just generic MIDI (if I’m not mistaking)…

S4 wins if you wanna scratch
VCI wins for everything else imo
And the layout is fine - not cramped at all
The way it uses the mode switches at the front giving you three layouts for the buttons is very clever
Shame about the fader caps though - they are awful
I’m so tempted to go with the VCI but the S4 is just so good with Traktor!
